    Fab place to start

“Can not fault this place. Great staff, large clean rooms and the beds were really comfy. Huge choice for breakfast and staff welcoming and friendly. If you’re flying in to Keflavik mid/late afternoon then would highly recommend staying here, so that you can get your bearings and be refreshed ready for your adventures in Iceland. Close to the airport and they will arrange pick up and drop off at the airport for you.”

One night didn't do the place justice - it is that good

“This place was a very unexpected, yet extremely pleasant surprise. We got in about 9pm, so it was straight to bed for us to catch the early morning flight out the next day. Looking back, I’d prefered to have stayed there longer. The hotel itself is not much to look at, but once you get inside your room, it’s a different story. The room, and the bed are both big. I mean, more than you need big. There’s even an easy chair (and an office chair, and two desk chairs) in the room. The TV, contrary to prevailing trends, is also a respectable size. Both the room and the bathroom were neat end clean. In short, more than enyone probably expects (or needs) from an airport hotel.
The breakfast starts real early, like past four am, so it’s unlikely you can’t get a bite because of an early flight. The place is located a few km from the airport, but because of the free shuttle it’s not an issue – it leaves every half an hour and it takes less than 10 min to get there. Plus, at that distance the plane noise can’t be heard either. The breakfast is nothing earth-shattering but it is tasty and ticks all the boxes (at least for us). It has free wifi, AND in case you didn’t bring your own, they had two computers behind the rception. In short, wish we had more time to spend there.”

    Excellent stay

“We stayed here for one night after landing late at the airport. The shuttle bus picked us up and took us straight to the hotel which is only a few minutes drive away. The man that picked us up was very helpful and friendly. He gave us tips on how to see the Northern Lights and when we enquired about how to get to Reykjavik he went above and beyond. He looked at bus times and even arranged for another man to drop us off at the bus stop the next morning. Without this help we may well have been very lost so thank you very much to both the men who went above and beyond! Room very big, clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast lots of choice even a waffle making machine. Excellent value for money! The breakfast starts real early, like past four am, so it’s unlikely you can’t get a bite because of an early flight. Great place, great price

“We accidently discovered the Bed and Breakfast after another place where we’d made reservations left us standing in the rain for 2 hours at the airport. We were planning to spend one night en route to the States and 5 on our return to Europe at a hotel in Reykavik. We liked it so much that we didn’t consider anywhere else. The rooms are basic..and oddly have many twin beds in each (one night we had 5 beds, on our return we had 4) The staff were exceptional! Upon our request, we were twice awakened to see the Northern Lights (on my bucket list). They arranged tours for us and also recommended a near by restaurant which had the best pizza! (and we’ve eaten pizza all over Europe!) It is very quiet and while the breakfast is basic, the waffle maker was always in use. Other travelers were from all around the globe which made for interesting conversations. Highly recommended.”
